Tim Hortons (TSX:THI) is giving away 40 RAV4s in the latest version of its popular contest.

In a statement out of Oakville, Ont., the company says the vehicles "have been certified by the manufacturer to have addressed any recall orders."

The coffee chain's director of public affairs did not return phone calls requesting more information.

The company's website indicated that none of the 40 RAV4s up for grabs had been shipped out as of Friday.

That's fun. Well, fun in a really sick way.

Because I was going through Olympic withdrawal a while back, 1Shooter1 gave me a link to the official Sochi site. On their home page, they had animated Vancouver2010 "games". Now I was on Vancouver's site almost daily and I didn't see these games ... I can only assume they were removed after the Georgian luger's tragic death. But when I found them on the Sochi site, I played. As with the above, much more enjoyable when you didn't try to land the jump correctly or actually steer through the gates.

For future reference (1,426 days hence) here's the link - www.sochi2014.com/ (or www.sochi2014.com/en/ for those of us who don't read Russian) but just checked and I guess someone in Russian came to their senses - appears they have removed the games as well. Think Runt's game above, except involving ice, trees, fences and moguls.
