My 18-yr old nephew completed basic training last summer and is currently studing aviation mecahnics with the Canadian Air Force ...1/2 man, 1/2 boy ALL HEART.

What would you feed it?
You could probably train it to crap on someones car.

Maybe you'd feed it bird seed mixed with doggy food. I don't think I'd want him for a pet because anything with wings I think should be set free. I can't stand seeing birds in cages, but I guess he's a bird dog, he does have wings.

Not sure about that little oddball, but I grew up with birds, actually I had avian pets for over 20 yrs (budgie, budgie, cockatiel). The only time anyone was in a cage was for bedtime. Each one was a spoiled brat & did "dog tricks".

I don't like seeing birds in cages unnecessarily either. On the rare occasion we had some sort of repairman come, the cage became a necessity to keep everyone safe. Cherry, the cockatiel, was especially good as a guard dog. I would have hated to see a burglar try to tangle with her. She was the most loving pet, had to have her own place setting at the table (yes, we were that kind of family) & loved to be petted, but you didn't want to mess with her.

Hats off to all those that still join nowadays knowing what they may have to deal with. Takes a special type of person and I'm glad that we have them all around us. As a memorial we take our fire trucks to the bridges when the fallen come home and i as one believe it is a great honour to do this to praise our men and women who are willing to go to battle for our country as well as the safety of others.

Carnation Low fat famous fudge

1and a half cup of sugar
2/3 cups of light carnation evaporated milk
2 tablespoons of light margarine
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 cups of minature marshmallows
1 1/2 cups of semi sweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup chopped pecans
1 teaspoon of vanilla

Directions:
Line 8 inch square pan with waxed paper or tinfoil
combine sugar,milk,butter and salt in medium heavy duty saucepan.Bring to a full
rolling boil over medium heat ,stirring constantly.Boil,stirring constantly for 5 minutes
Remove from heat.
Stir in marshmallows,choc chips,nuts and vanilla.Stir vigouously for 1 minute or until marshmallows are melted.Pour into prepared pan.Refridgerate for 2 hours or until firm
Lift from pan and cut into small pieces
ENJOY

Hi All, Crappy Day eh?

Hey, the Q just mentioned the story I posted about the girl with the ex-husband in the accident when she was shaving her.......

I heard it too.... The Q dj said that the day before this happened, the woman was charged for drunk driving and was suppose to have her car impounded.

Ironically, the commercial right after the Q dj read it was "ex-copper".... "call if you've been charged with impaired driving...."

I thought this was neat, even though it is merely a concept. It will be interesting to see how they turn the concept into reality, or if they can!
