    Good morning fellow Qsters!

What a nice day today! Great for the kids who have March Break, but not so good for us working stiffs who have to enjoy the weather from a window.

Coming up later in the day, kenrod's LIVE RRRoll Up The RRRim To Win contest. Be there or be square.

    In the meantime,

    11:15am Winning Word: BUDDIES

    Enjoy the nice day folks!

Finally, my first Timmies for the day. Good thing too, my keyboard was starting to imprint itself onto my face.

    Tim Hortons 24 - Terry 2

Hmmm... I don't seem to be playing the odds.

Hey guys, not sure if this has been discussed before, so sorry if it has!
For the DCG word, I think I've entered the same word more than once and it accepted it. Will that disqualify me or does that count as another entry? If it's the latter, then I should've been doing this all along! LOL

OMG, another one loses it all. What a drag! I often wonder what would happen if I get called for the cash grab. You just can't know what to do for sure, yours could have jumped up to $4,000 so you didn't really do anything wrong, just bad luck! Try not to let it spoil your day, although I'm sure it won't help make it nice!

Anyway, welcome to the Q thread!

    Your Tuesday TeeHee

    HAVING MOM OVER FOR DINNER

You don't even have to be a mother to enjoy this one...

Brian invited his mother over for dinner. During the course of the meal, Brian's mother couldn't help but notice how beautiful Brian's roommate, Jennifer, was. Brian's Mom had long been suspicious of the platonic relationship between Brian and Jennifer, and this had only made her more curious.

Over the course of the evening, while watching the two interact, she started to wonder if there was more between Brian and Jennifer than met the eye.

Reading his mom's thoughts, Brian volunteered, 'I know what you must be thinking, but I assure you Jennifer and I are just roommates.'

About a week later, Jennifer came to Brian saying, 'Ever since your mother came to dinner, I've been unable to find the beautiful silver gravy ladle. You don't suppose she took it, do you?'

Brian said, 'Well, I doubt it, but I'll send her an e-mail just to be sure. So he sat down and wrote:
    __________________________________________________ ________
    Dear Mom,

I'm not saying that you 'did' take the gravy ladle from the house, I'm not saying that you 'did not' take the gravy ladle. But the fact remains that one has been missing ever since you were here for dinner.

    Love, Brian
    __________________________________________________ ________

Several days later, Brian received an email back from his mother that read:
    __________________________________________________ __

    Dear Son,

I'm not saying that you 'do' sleep with Jennifer, I'm not saying that you 'do not' sleep with Jennifer. But the fact remains that if Jennifer is sleeping in her own bed, she would have found the gravy ladle by now.

    Love, Mom

    LESSON OF THE DAY -

    NEVER LIE TO YOUR MOTHER

I'd vote for Blue Rodeo in a heartbeat. Probably one of Canada's greatest hidden treasures, I don't know why they never broke out in the States.
What do the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Titanic have in common?

They both look good until they hit the ice.

    Hi All:

Gotta get outside, its too nice out to be in! I'll have to drop back in to see if I get the Derringer call, but then its out for the rest of the day (hopefully they don't call at 5:40!)

I've sent them an e-mail to clear up this business of one or more entries to the AC/DC contest. I don't see an e-mail for Shawn so I just sent it to the Club Q thingie, I'm going to try calling too, let you know when I find out anything.

Actually Mickey Dolenz was my heart throb too ARGO when I was about 10 or so. I liked the fact that he had a good sense of humor, although Davey was the main heart throb as he was so cute!

Over and out for now.............enjoy your day guys!

They were alt-country before it was even a recognized genre.

Or, to paraphrase Barbara Mandrell, they were alt-country when alt-country wasn't cool, lol.
