    Good Morning Everyone!!
It looks dull & cool outside but, hey... it's the Weekend!!
I received the infamous Call Into Work, so I'll be out & about.
It seems that the Warden might have slept in, so I have been REPorting as quietly as I can. Sorry Stewy if I am still too loud.
I will confer with the Warden sometime today and act accordingly.

Good morning SCers. Thanks for the evenings and overnights! The afternoon shift is done for another couple of weeks.

Say, do I need to do anything on my part to get the coveted SC magnet, now that I reached my milestone, or will it be sent automatically?

I'm going to go to HMV and try to find a CD of Procol Harum Live in Concert with the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra. Wish me luck!

LIVE from Brampton, it is time to play kenrod's LIVE RRRoll Up The RRRim To Win contest!

    Yay!

    My statistics so far:
    Played: 18 times (XL Cups)
    Won: coffee (1st, 6th and 16th cups); donut (4th and 13th cups)
Odds of winning: 1 in 9

As it is nice to win some free coffees and donuts, I think it would be even nicer to win $10,000 or a free car today. Lets see if I win a big ticket item today...

<RRRolling up the RRRim on cup #19>

"PLEASE PLAY AGAIN / REESSAYEZ S.V.P."

Well that is a disappointment. I really had my heart set on winning the 10 grand today. I'm not greedy or anything, it's not the car I was trying for, although that would have been nice too. Oh well...

Stay tuned for another exciting edition of kenrod's LIVE RRRoll Up The RRRim To Win contest coming soon to a computer near you.

....morning, all!!!....gawd, long time no chat.....after the dentist on Tuesday, my hubby's niece was stopping by for some help with her wedding invitations ( she didn't show up, what a waste of a day)....she called late Tuesday night, so proper reprimand was issued at that point.....she showed up before 9 am next day, and we got started......spent all day working on them, and same for Thursday, when I tossed her out early afternoon, and went to my meeting.....tried to log onto the computer, server was down THE ENTIRE DAY, what a PITA....( oh, did I mention that the computer picked up a virus of some kind, so hubby got a system cleaner, which he installed Wed night.....just in time for the server to go down for the whole of Thursday)......Friday was a write-off to get on here, rest of family was doing catch-up....
....so here we are Saturday morning....talk about a week that flew by!!!....AndiT, you have been a lifesaver...or should I say pointsaver?....man, that's a week I sure don't feel like having to repeat any time soon.....TR

    Good Afternoon All.

Thanks for the codes and hints on double codes! Good luck to those in competitive situations today, including those who are hunting for an elusive prize (CD or RUTWTW). A wish for good health to those trying to recover from just tooooooooo much; a big yippeee for Chers, and a boo for WolfDio - seems the work bug didn't go away, it just switched places; and Andit, I don't know why the artist would be upset by your label - isn't that what it is? Either that or a really lopsided jungle gym!

Hey Spring will be sprung in just under an hour. I was hoping to celebrate by taking my Dog on our first hike of the year down to the Rouge. Ok - it's all of a 30 minutes walk to get to the river's edge so not so much of a hike, but she is off leash for the duration, so it's a real treat for her. But still waffling on the idea. We were out earlier and unless the sun can make a brief appearance, think it just might be a tad too chilly to make an afternoon of it. Maybe I'll just throw her a rawhide and say "Happy Spring!". She won't know what the alternative was going to be and I'm sure she'll be pleased as punch! (Great, now I'm faking out my dog!)

    good luck with that...

A few weeks ago i did an iaido demo at the Mississauga Golf and Curling Club where they were having a bonspiel...

This was the first time that i had seen the curling ice surface up close. I was surprised to see that it was covered with lots of little bumps. (pebbling) Unlike hockey, a guy goes out and sprays water on the ice to make even more bumps, between matches.

The curling rocks are about 3 times heavier than i had figured, at 42 pounds.

No, i didn't actually try any curling, but it seems to be a lot harder than it looks on television!
