Nope, no warning, just a lovely surprise.
In Toronto, all new residential buildings have to put up artwork (at their cost) & hire an artist (from a shortlist the city provides) to do so. My building got off easy, we paid $20K for the iron fence & 'canopy' (with holes) in the courtyard.
My friend`s condo ended up with trees in flower pots.
Gotta love life in the city.

Usually (but not always) the 11:20am word has to do with the topic discussed in Joanne`s blog. Sometimes it`s more easily guessable than others. When I do make a early guess that gets me points I try to remember to put in the disclaimer `not announced yet`` because there are people who don`t want to enter codes until they are announced on the radio and therefore official.

My little daughter is home for lunch and doesn`t want to go back to school. She says she`s not feeling well and she`s still coughing a little but not nearly as much as saturday and no longer has a fever. I can`t help but wonder if it`s because of the bully that she doesn`t want to go back as she was very eager to go this morning. He showed up for school today so I guess he was just lying when he said he was changing schools. Too bad.
