Ladies...this is for our men!!!
I've decided there are things we all can do,
To make Superbowl Sunday a success for you.
Although the guys don't know this on a conscious level,
They need to be taught that football's the devil,
During the game they would really prefer,
An engaging conversation....there's no need to defer,
Talk about painting, or repairs that are waiting,
He may appear disinterested, but he's really relating
Forget feeding him nachos, chili, wings & beer,
Though traditional fare they produce gas that's severe,
offer him special Super Bowl hour derves,
Cause if the game is a tense one he'll be a bundle of nerves,
Some football watchers start hollering and swearing
That really means is they need more caring
So during this week I'm working on a plan
Of how to enchance Super Bowl Sunday just for your man....
I'll be working on a special healthy menu and probably a couple of recipes for alcohol-free punch and maybe a jello mold would be a fine thing to include.
More to follow soon!

Excellent, however, Owdatoon does not watch American Football, so I won't be glued to the TV.
I used to be a faithful Leaf hockey fan, until the players went on strike, then I gave up watching or attending. I went to many Leaf games, in the past, even in the NHL private box (I am still using the official NHL coffee mug from that game which somehow landed in my coat pocket) all of this at the old MLG. Likewise for baseball (still have the Blue Jays first World Series win in a sealed VHS tape).

I can't stand football. It takes forever to play a game and it seems rather barberic.
Baseball is alright, hockey used to be great.
I'm taking an interest in curling now.
Thanks all you funny people. Now I need some sleep.
