Just did the surveys....I am a little sad about this....I am a native Canadian and cannot believe this response....Seems like there is still alot of prejudice out there. This is not true, a generalization and is racist. 29% of respondents believe this to be factual. This scares me........

I lived in Detroit during the race riots in the 60's, moved to the reserve in Quebec in the 70's during the the height of the Separatist movement. I have seen alot of prejudice and learned from the experience. There are only two types of people in this world BAD and GOOD.

I wouldn't put too much accuracy into the surveys....some peeps just randomly select....for the record I selected the phrase where basically it was saying that alcohol had nothing to do with it he knew what he was doing...

Same here on my choice - and I am native as well....I don't put much into the numbers - as Owdatoon said - most people just click to get the points.

I've had my Ion USB turntable for a couple of years, great to grab that vinyl (where there is no CD marketed) and enjoy some of those old tunes burnt onto CDs....even burns my 78's and 45's...

I have transfered some of my lps but the sound is not great. How is the sound with that system?

Acceptable sound, it has a filter to eliminate some of the crackles and such through a sound wave graphic. The price was in around
$ 199.00 (I got The Source to meet the advertised internet price of
$ 149.00 this was when they first came out)...there are some good programs available to really clean up your vinyl if you want to go the distance...but if you're really serious in the audio/video part of computers your best to have a Mac and there is a program called Toast or Toastmaster that is suppose to really eliminate your background noise.

The Ion turntable suits me fine, haven't explored the 8 track or cassette burning though....and as they note you can connect this to your stereo system as well.
