Club Q Q107-Loyalty Club (Southern ON Only)

Good Morning.
Since this forum has been hijacked by people who don't even listen to Q-107, it has become somewhat of a trainwreck.
It's been like a bad karaoke performance and the same people keep on singing over and over and over.
Now there's a warning about this site containing light adult humor. It should also have a warning about people who monopolize and use this forum as their own instant messaging club. It's been like one of those cheap late night advertisements on TV where you are encouraged pick up the phone and join the party. (for a price)
I wonder why this fourm was picked? These types of messages and this nonsense would not be taking place on a thread where toys, pets, raising children are discussed.
Judging by some of the responses I received other people share in my sentiments.
This is what it is and to everyone who made this a fun place to be, I thank you for all your help and rep etc.
I decided to speak my mind one final time.

I have to agree that this forum now has a darkness about it.

We were all on here for a common reason,
We discussed "Yvette" Q blunders and the hockey season,
We talked about life and it's daily grinds,
Reminisced about places that still live in our minds,
Remebering music was our common bond,
Which made it so easy for us to correspond,,
When our "Q" words were not posted and sometimes missing,
We'd joke around on here and do light-hearted "Q" dissing,
We made a connection and our thread really flowed,
Our interests were genuine and it really showed,
I have to agree there's a different flavour,
and I have to say it's one that's not easy to savour,
I guess that's the way things sometimes turn out,
But it such a sad thing that it's left some in doubt.

I agree with Carrogirl 100%. I've made my last post on here. It's not a "prude" thing, or a "censorship" thing...I'm just sick of what it's become. See ya.

I think we need some clarification on what exactly is going on.. Late last week there was flurry of messaging, some maybe inappropriate for this site, I am not judging, just wondering where this site lost it's course. Now people are leaving. It was alot of fun seeing posts about rock and roll and the Q site. Now it seems like the site is in turmoil.....so sad...

No Owdatoon - you did not. It just came down to tsome posters decided to post things not related to a Q thread and some took offense. For the most part people were not offended, but rather disappointed they had to scroll through pages and pages of things that were not Q related.

It's all perspective of the view I suppose. I am still here and will continue to be here and just scroll through anything not Q related. Really - what is the big deal about using the button a little more?

I just am going to add something here. This is a Q-107 thread. We all have often gotten a little off topic and had some fun. But,it was fun intended for all of us...............NOT an adult site with "adult" humour.
I am a person who tries to give everyone the benefit of the doubt.
This forum has helped me in my day to day life sometimes. My struggles with cancer and the well wishes I have received from the people on here have been a tremendous support to me.
The point I wish to make is that it WAS a Q thread and the analogy of being hijacked that Carrogirl used has a ring of fact to it.
Like many other people, I don't enjoy scrolling through page after page of REPETITIVE "light adult humour".
No wonder people are leaving.

So - if we don't type what absolutely EVERYONE wants to see then people aren't welcome here??? WHAT A CROCK! Do I want to see half naked men and women - no. Do I think there is a need a to have sexual innuendo thrown around - again, no. However, there are people on here who do want that sort of thing and who am I to say when and where they can do it? Are there other thread on here experiencing THE EXACT SAME THING? You darn tootin betcha!!! So who are we to say what adults can and can't do in a thread - that for the most part - they are contributing Q things to? If this is the case then I am sure I can find another site that give the same info and I'm outta here. Censorship is for the weak of mind - CIAO!!!!
