Thanks for sharing....brought tears to my eyes on this beautiful Saturday morning.
I took my dog for a walk this morning and a neighbour a few streets over was cleaning his car and I noticed a sticker on the back of his car. I stopped to wish him and his wife a good morning and asked where he got his "Highway of hero's" sticker (it's in the shape of the highway signs and has a poppy on it and says HOH")
He got it from his legion for $6 and all prceeds go to the troops - his local is 606 and we continued to talk. He is a vet and I am so glad that I had a chance to talk with him and his wife this morning. Let's all support our troops!!! God Bless them all

I just wanted to apologize to everyone on this site. Sometimes I act before I think, and posted that joke earlier before my brain reacted to it. I sometimes forget that not everyone has my weird sense of humor. I'm so sorry if I offended anyone with that elephant story.

Was AWESOME!!!

No, wait - the opening acts were not very good, we had

to sit through two hours of trash before Edgar came on.

Oh, yeah - we got there quite early, found a nice table near

the stage, and got beers before the crowd swarmed in.

Donna noticed several people staring in our direction and

pointing... overheard one lady shouting to her date," It's

HIM!! I KNOW it's him!!!" Obviously she was mistaken; a

delegate was appointed to approach me when Donna had

left to use the facilities - she approached very nervously,

introduced herself as Sharon, and asked, "Excuse me,

Sir, but are you related to Edgar?" I didn't even have

my hair OUT, for pete's sake! Just the same old ponyail.

I guess I could have had some fun and claimed to be

Karl Winter, their smarter younger brother, but I let her

down gently.

Edgar put on a GREAT show - in hindsight I should have

asked if I could have my picture taken with him!
