NO amount of money is worth my happiness and self worth. I may not live in a castle or drive a Bentley. I live in a 3 bedroom house that the bank still owns (darn mortgage), I drive a Kia and hubby has a GMC truck. We have 2 healthy boys (unfortunatley they have both been laid off) and a beautiful baby girl doggy! MONEY doesn't buy you that......family, friends and happiness does.

I have a sister who is miserable and has been for more than the past 15 years at the job she has BUT won't leave becasue she won't get another job with that kind of pay.
She has become bitter, miserable and blames eveyone for her troubles, etc, etc. She has very few friends left (that's how much of a downer she is). BUT she has nice things and can go here and do this, when she wants...her TV is bigger than mine, her car is newer, her BBQ is better than mine, etc.
I wish her all the luck in the world. Knowing that she hates to get up and go to work each day, hates her boss, her co-workers and her job is unbelivable to me. I would be SOOOOO gone. Oh well, some people can't see beyond the nose on their face.
As I say - KEEP SMILING - makes people wonder what you've been up to!! LMAO

My look on it is, I could have a better paying job and be miserable or stick with this job for less pay but that I enjoy coming to most days (99 out of 100)
The bottom line to me is - it's NOT the money that makes the job...it's the joy of getting up and going to work.
There is nothing wrong with " do you want fries with that?" if you enjoy the company, co-workers and what your doing.

Kells thanks for the insights, Don't get me wrong It's really not about the money I am rather spoiled....I have 2 great kids my daughter is a competative figure skater and my son freaked us out and fell into the gifted category... I think my problem is I never see any other people...The last few years just about all my friends were lost to divorces.. We didn't make it into the settlement I guess. Life just gets into a funk and I thought working might be the answer. I decided however to wait till fall to look my hubby is going to open the pool early this yr. See how flighty I am!!!!!
