Where did you go to high school.

Brockton High Here.

I was a Parkdale boy, where I grew up I got to see Geddy Lee practice before he became a big name. Geddy and his band used to practice in the basement of the local church by us. I was also lucky enough to see Rik Emmitt from Triumph join in on a few sessions over there.

The Band Platnium Blonde Mark Holmes & Chris Steffler used to rent the townhouse right next door to me and Sergio Gali lived just up the street.

I used to hang with them everyday, got to hear all the music before it was released. I used to screen who came in and out of thier house. The townhouses were connected via underground and there would be so many folks trying to see them that they would sneak out through the basement through my house and make thier escape.

I even went on the CDN tour with them as a roadie, ah those were the good old days, boy could I tell you stories

I don't have a high school story, although Rush & Max played at our school a couple times. My story involves a little bar on Bathust south of St. Clair where we used to go watch this blind guy play a screaming guitar on his lap. He turned out to be a fairly well known musician world wide and you can now go enjoy other musicians play at his bar. (R.I.P. - Jeff)

Governor Simcoe was mine.. very boring.. but I visited eventually cleaned the school where Neil Peart went to...and I hung out and had my wedding photos at the famous "Lakeside Park.".. not much else that was excitting band wise.
