No personal information was taken. They redirected the site and sent a mass email. They wanted to get the word out about their revolution and that was the goal. Unfortunately they hit a lot of vbulletin sites.

Boo is working on the upgrade, and it should be done tonight. Until then the forum will be up and down all night. Please feel free to enter the contest on the blog, its unlimited entries.

Why would someone hack a site like this? lol. To me it's rly random. I understand when they hack police or gov sites, but a freebie site? We're here to try and save money anyway we can. I dont think any of us are rich or powerful so whats the point of hacking this site? Bored? hack something worth hacking. not some freebie site. Very odd to me.

good to know I'm not the only one with SC withdrawal, the means I'm not a weirdo! (or it means we all are, but the first one sounds better) I got the email too, I marked it as "my friend's been hacked". I only had to use that once before, when I got an email from my aunt saying she was stuck in the UK and needed several thousand pound to get home.

Yes I can not get into the main contest area and before I got re directed to the Nazi site.

I did not get anything in my e-mail...I don't enter blog contests.

Blog contests have nothing to do with this period.

It was registration emails, nothing more complex then that.

They actually hit other savings sites and anything they could.

Yes, I think everyone did. It's still linked on several pages in this section too. I feel a little paranoid about hackers possibly having my address now from my private messages, even though I just deleted them all. It's scary.

I didn't get an email but every page on SC I've tried to view for the last 6 hrs redirects me to "Nazi Banking"?!

I can access people's message boards and new threads appear to be working, but the old ones all redirect me to: http://jforjustice.co.uk/banksters
