I am willing to take 4 courses (full-time) in the summer. That is because I need to catch up. Now, does any one know how much I can get from OSAP for the summer? I live in Ottawa. Things are pretty pricey here. Can you please give me some tips on budget management too.

OSAP looks at several things when giving out loans. They look at are you still living with your parents or on your own, do you pay for anytihng (ie rent, transportation), also how much the courses are, if you have any children, married or not, if you your parent have any other children going to post sec, and your income for the last year.

if you apply for OSAP and fill out the steps, they'll give u an estimate.
you can then choose to submit the application or not to..
but its always better to submit since u've already filled everything out.. and you might be automatically considered for some scholarships or bursaries..
and sometimes, bursaries from your university (U ottawa im guessing?) requires you to apply for osap before they grant you free money..
hope that helps.
