I've edited this post as I figured out my confusion.
if your userCP/settings is full of threads see below...

I guess with the update all of my subscribed threads seem "new" or bolded. I need to view each thread for them to disappear. Then only new posts will show up after, and I can click the view all button like the old sc, to view them all again.

Sorry if I confused everyone as much as I've confused myself in trying to figure this out lol

I now understand the issue with viewing your subscribed threads in your userCP/settings...

Once you view a subscribed thread, it will disappear from the subscribed thread list and not appear again until someone else adds a post to that specific thread.

This is problematic, as you may still want to review old subscribed threads through your userCP/settings, and they will not show up if no more posts are added.

See if this happens to you...Click the last page of any subscribed thread. Then click your settings. This thread will no longer appear in your subscribed threads list until someone posts to it again.

Ok...ok... I figured it out!!!
You must click a button at the bottom of your subscribed threads to view all threads, if not they will not show up once you view the latest post.

To the bolded - it was the same way with the old SC, at least for me it was; I periodically viewed all so I could delete my subscription to threads that were older & no longer being added to, or that I was no longer following.

Yes, your right. However, with the new update all your subscribed threads will appear bolded again. This will be time consuming for some to view to get them off of their "new" list.

Patty, did you get logged in and out today as well? i thought I fixed that prob but apparently not will look into it.

Also will try bringing back something similar to control panel.

I will basically try making it feel like the old forum as much as I can!

Last time I was logged out was this a.m. but not since then. Maybe it's alright now.

When looking at SETTINGS Page there is no minimizer for the subscribed threads and you have to scroll down quite a ways to get to reps.

I think this is because all your subscribed threads are being recognized as "new" since the update. Click on the last page of each thread (it takes awhile), and your list will start to get shorter. Then your reps will be at the top again.

I hope this helps. Frustrating to have to do though.

Hi there, not sure if any one has mentioned but mobile access now and navigating when viewing on a phone or tablet now is almost near impossible! Prior to the upgrades I always used my phone (blackberry) but now when I try to use its so difficult - pages wont load, i need to be signed in (i was always before, now it logs me out every time - but before i could still view the website as a guest) and some of the ads are still present and makes it so you cant close the ad or see the thread post.

i dont have internet access at work so it was the only way for me to stay in touch with SC.

sorry its just frustrating. thanks for letting me vent
