I did not touch/change anything about Google Adsense... it's been the same since 2006!!

And I have a privacy policy in the footer. Did you read that? How else am I supposed to let users know??

She was saying, I think because of the upgrade the link at the bottom wasn't there(or she couldn't see it) then when she mentioned the privacy policy all off a sudden the link was back at the bottom.

Basically when I upgraded the footer got lost and I forgot to restore the footer because I've been working day and night busting my ass to fix the forum and make it the way you guys want!... The footer with the privacy policy has always been in the footer of the old forum though. Go to http://smartcanucks.ca/ and scroll to the bottom.

If the site is upgrading to vb4, then is SC also integrating Google Adsense through vb4?
Adsense uses Tracking cookies that can be deemed to be threats to privacy.
If you're using Adsense, will the privacy policy page be updated to inform SC users of this Program collecting direct information?

No at the moment I'm not integrating adsense with vb4.... didn't even know such a feature exists in vb4... will have to look into it now that you mention it hehe

I think you already are using Adsense. Adchoice ads appear in the right side of the screen. Adchoice is the name that google gave ads by Adsense. So you may want to look into informing all SC users that this program is in place.

I only brought up ADchoices/Adsense because there was no available link (until today) to the privacy policy on the updated SC, and because Adsense is now using the term ADchoice and I thought you may want to update the privacy policy (that I knew existed somewhere) to show this. I'm fine with ADchoices/ADsense. I honestly was only looking out for SC Boo, as I know it needs to be disclosed.

I guess the confusion's because Google Adsense changed something to their program. I never had to change anything from my side... they really just made "ADchoice" word automatically. I didn't know changes to privacy policy were needed. Thanks for letting me know!

I have adsense/adchoice on my blog. The ads all say adchoice on them now but my control panel to make changes,etc is still called google adsense so I don't know.
