My DD First BDay Party!

Everything went well. Thanks for the advice when I had asked for it earlier! Saved where I could (bought helium tank at walmart to blow up our own balloons, etc) and splurged where it was worth it (had food trays made up). Some offered to bring food instead of presents, which was awesome!

Anyway, I had more than one person ask for me to post the picture of my Cookie Monster Cupcakes once I was done, and here they are! Please be nice, I'm hardly a professional, and I can't remember the last time I decorated anything with icing!

those cupcakes are AWESOME! well done. never would have thought of using the grass tip for that. have to remember that and two candy melts for the eyes. and then the cookie in the mouth. so awesome. my hubby is the same way too.

love the cupcakes. for ds 1st birthday dh made a cookie monster cake he used fondant and then put icing on top of it for the fur lol (it was a sesame street theme with extra emphasis on cookie monster since we couldn't find a lot of things with only cookie monster).
