Was at Costco Downsview last night and picked up a great deal on Garnier's BB cream: 2 full-size tubes for $24. That's almost the same price as one tube at Shoppers. Also got two packages of Boursin herbed cheese for about $8 and one package is $5.99 at Loblaws. What other deals are good there these days?

They have Jane's chicken fingers, whole wheat, over 1kg for 9.99- even the sale for 4.99 you get more at costco. I also buy hamburger there, unless it is on sale or you have meat coupons it is always cheaper per kg there.

They also have the Dare cracker variety 5pk for 6.99 this week which is a good price if you don't have the $.75 wub2 coupon. And my Favourite garlic and parmesan croutons for $2.99. It's usually $4.99.

I always get my 2-pack hummus there at 5.89. Other grocery stores usually sell them for more than double the price, plus I usually don't have coupons for these things.

My dad usually buys low dose aspirin 81mg from costco for $22.99 for 360 tablets (one whole year supply). I have never seen anything lower than this for the whole year.

I actually find the price of meat (like steaks and roasts and things) to be very good at Costco. They cut their steaks thicker than most supermarkets IMHO and the meat is a great quality. I load my freezer a few times a year at Costco on steaks/roasts/beef in general. I also like their frozen hamburgers (they sell them in sleeves).

For the bakers out there Costco sells 10kg bags of flour and real vanilla extract at about 75% less than grocery stores. I haven't bought it in awhile (they're Costco sized after all) but I think the vanilla is around $6 for 500mL and the flour is about $6 too.

I just did this trick to save even more on Meat from Costco. You buy a Top Sirloin Roast and then cut it into steaks at home. Here is a you tube video by a butcher that shows how to do exactly this. You can save several $$$ per kg and eat very well indeed! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IBA2TnvvG-w

Oh I also buy their frozen vegetables in large 2kg bags for about $7. I prefer the asian stir fry one. We know frozen veg is more nutritious than "fresh" in the winter time and this is an excellent price even beats coupons with smaller bags in grocery stores and the quality is fantastic
