This is certainly not a rush item.
When you're private messaging with a friend, and you keep the message history there, the prior quotes show up as boxes within boxes. So the original post is in the most inside box and eventually ends up being 1 character wide, and the other messages occupy another box until the most recent one is on the outside. Yuck

maybe just set up a PM with someone so others can say if theirs looks different in another browser?
its just that when you open a PM, the Reply box auto-Quotes the previous messages. I have just disabled this due to the fact that there is a 'Message History' function. When viewing a PM from now on, if you cannot recall the history of your conversation, scroll down a little bit and click the View History link. This will keep replies from being nested with tons of quotes.
can you set the view history to open as a default.
P.S. If you have not read this thread you would be totally confused as I was when I just got a PM with only the reply.
