Making the biggest life change... UPDATED
I have lost about 40 pounds since June 2010, with the help of Goodlife fitness and Weight Watchers. I also do have a personal trainer 1 time a week!
That being said, I still have about 80 pounds to loose to reach my goal. Also, I have been stuck in a plato for over 6 weeks and decided that Weight watchers wasn't working anymore.
With the encouragement of my doctor, I went to see Dr. Bishop - weightloss management, here in Ottawa and have started a brand new High Protein, low carb diet.
I will say, it is tough! Tougher than weight watchers for sure.
What was the worst part is how minimal I can use coupons now. Luckily, I was able to trade most of them! Thank you guys! I would hate to throw any away.
Part of my new diet is that I am to eat about 2 protein bars a day, which can easily work out to over $3 each.
I had tried a few different ones and decided to buy $50 worth of them today at Shoppers so I could at least take advantage of 20x the points.
To my discovery I found...
Jamieson Slim down bars - 15g protein, 15g carb and 150 cal. Exactlly what I am to eat 2 x a day, plus they are on sale for $1.49 each. They had 5 different kinds too.
They also taste good! Horray!
I ended up buying 37 of them + 10,000 SDM points! for $58 dollars!
I ended up getting double the amt I would have normally got and the regular price is about $2, so even then it is cheaper than everywhere else!
