Recycling Walk ( Looking for tips)

I will be going out in a couple of hours, to try some recycling bins for goodies.
My neighbour have been just fine with me taking items out in the past ( newspapers for pets, 2 litre pop bottles for garden watering, etc)

Being a total newbie at the Smart Canucks way of couponing and points, I am looking for advice about what to look for.
Even tips that seem obvious are gratefully received.

My thoughts:
- pop cans
- Smartsource
- Coke points ( where do I look for them?)
- coupons on Allen's apple juice
- boxes with redeemable codes ( Nature valley, Kelloggs, etc)

Why couldn't I have come up with this idea a week ago when it was about 20C at night?
It is -2C now!

I did the recycling walk a few days ago and have been too busy to post detailed results.
The amount of time in total was about 2 1/2 hrs, in 20 minute increments at late afternoon, late night and the early morning.
I got no hassles at all.

The haul:
- 20 sets of 10 coupon booklets
- two coupons on boxes
- 8 icoke lids
- 10 sets of 4 juice coupons on Allen's juice cans
- 2 garbage bags full of pop cans ( partially crushed to 1 bag) = $4.45 at recyclers
- 3 beer cans ( $ 0.30 at redemption centre)
- a few items for organizing at home
