Quebec Walmart sale starts on Wednesday

    Philly cream cheese, 250g, 1.97

Price match at RCSS or Maxi, use $2 WUB2 coupon found at the coupon zone and pay 97 cents each. I found the coupons at Loblaws, valid March 23 - April 6.

Do cream cheese freeze well or will it become watery when it thaws. We don't bake, we eat it with bagels.

Gee, I hope we get that price in SK. Thanks for the heads-up.

No problem freezing it, I've done it lots. Once you thaw it and cream it, you will see no difference. I've only done it with the regular brick Philly, though.

I've freezed The smaller tubs before, and yes it does get watery when you de-thaw it, since there's much more air in it than the bricks.

Longest I've done is four months - that's in a chest freezer, not in the freezer section of a fridge. In a chest freezer, probably six months would be fine. I just freeze it in the original box, and make sure you thaw it in the fridge.
