I have no clue who my buddy is. Soooo many pages to read to figure it out! Can I get a new hint anyone?
O my goodness!! JadeAngel. You spoiled me beyond belief! When I went to the mail box and took the package out it was sooo heavy!
Chocolate galore!! <3 you are my true hero! LOL
Just trying to figure out how to post pictures from my phone onto here.

sorry though, it is not as big as what i have sent in the past...........was not easy to get out shopping this go round as could not venture too far from home so had to go with what i had available in my small town......:sad4:
hope you like your package though.....i enjoyed the shopping that i was able to get done!!
my package is very slowly moving, spent a few days in Halifax and has now been in Montreal for a couple of days...buddy you may get your package faster if you go to Montreal and get it yourself :( CP doesn't seem to move so well East to West...
Ok, it took me a bit of time to stop blubbering and collect my thoughts before posting again . Trish, amazing package, thank you so much for everything (I'll post pics tomorrow afternoon)! It's all lovely but what really got me was the book...where on earth did you find it?? I just went through every page and came across some recipes that jolted some very lovely memories. When I was a little girl and my parents took me to work with them on weekends, there used to be a Jewish bakery nearby (long since closed) where I would always buy a piece of Khachapuri (of course I didn't know the name of it then, it was just cheesecake for me). I haven't eaten that in decades! I can't wait to make it. Then I came across the recipe for Bread & Butter Pudding. My dear sweet late FIL attempted to make these once for me. He was disappointed that they didn't turn out very well but I didn't know any better because it was the first (and last) time I ever tried it, lol. I haven't thought about the recipe since. It'll be a real treat for me to try to make these...I think FIL would approve :-) (although he always made fun of my cooking, lol). And finally, I'm going to make the Baking Powder Biscuits tomorrow night! FIL used to make stew for dh and siblings when they were children and his mother always made the biscuits to go along with it. I can't wait to surprise dh with it.
*sigh* It's so much more than a recipe book...thank you so much, Trish :sweet:.
YES!
I'm so glad you liked the book. It was older (hence it only being $1.87 or something) so I didn't know if you would like it, but I thought, what the heck it has bread recipes. I found it at the same bookstore I found Peachy's book. :) I think after you are done your baking you should take pictures to show me....since it wouldn't be a great idea to mail me some. :D
I actually have 2 more things that I found buried under a crapload of papers on my table. So I'm going to mail those off to you tomorrow as well.
I'm so glad you liked your package. :)
Gahhhh, I hate my phone sometimes.
