oops... I kinda neglected this thread for awhile.
I have coverage.. but it's horrible! I only get back 70% of supplies... and the way I rip thru test strips (anywhere from 6 to 10 per day), it all adds up!
My doctor took me off Novo Rapid (fast acting insulin) because i was becoming resistant to it... and put me on Apidra. Instantly my sugars dropped, and I've kept them down. I'm now on less than half the dose I was on while on Novo Rapid. ...and that's a very good thing!
I'm kind of looking forward to my next Hb A1c!!! :excited:
would love the link for my mother...no benefits..so ya $$$$$$
thanks for the link..I sent my mom an email so hopefully she will get one too
Sweet!! Gotta love free!!!
I couldn't imagine having to pay full price for my testing strips and lancets! I'm glad they have this in place, it's so easy for forget not everyone has coverage.
Eta, saw that you have 70% coverage... thats not bad! I only have 80. Imagine paying full price!
No... I wouldn't imagine paying full price either. At least now... thanks to Smart Canucks... I've learned to buy D supplies at SDM during the 20x the points event! That certainly helps during the megs redemption!! ...and I've also redeemed for D supplies during the Mega event last December.
I was glad to see this program in place, also! :) ....so I shared!!!
