trade rant.

so i did a trade on fb last week with some chick that i haven't traded with before Attachment 110419. ok, that's fine right? everyone deserves a chance...BUT, i told her i was going to mail on friday, her response to me was i'll mail friday or monday. so here we are today (TUESDAY), she gets her envie from me AND SHE HASN'T EVEN MAILED MINE YET Attachment 110420. wassamatterwipeeps Attachment 110421 ?

I'm sure they're coming. I've told people I'd have things in the mail one day but then things come up, or I get stuck at work/called in, or I forget to take mail when I leave my house

oh oh.... i forget to mail my envies all the time.... they are always a day or two late :redface:... i guess i shouldn't do that...

i guess life can get in the way! :P yesterday was just a bad day! i needed a vent...or rather, a rant! felt better after using all those smileys tho!

That's happened to me too with people on here. I always shove the envelope in my purse so I can drop it in the mailbox after shopping/working/whatever. It makes me think like they are waiting on my end or something...except isn't my trade rating streetcred enough?

Just found this section... hmmm, sorry to hear that but you know.. like everything else in life... the crappy stuff is upsetting, but it also helps us appreciate the good ones even more yah know ?

I haven't traded in a very long time. What is trading on facebook? Are there coupon groups on there?

some people have set up "local" coupon groups for trading and information on facebook...and it's nice to meet others who coupon locally!

i am tired of people thinking their coupons are gold -yes i ran into a few on here-2 in fact --and dont get me going on the high value ones -ugggg tonight i traded 2 high value -so called cause everyone wants them - plus a regular one for 4-mini wheats cereal cpns and a dog cpn -i was so happy cause it is cpns i need -let us try to work together with these one on one trading everyone

yes, i got them the next week! thanks for asking :) it was just a little frustrating. not sure why she made me wait so long!

I make it very clear when I am trading with someone that I want both of us to have our envies in the mail the very next day. I have traded with people and not have my trade show up for 6 or 8 weeks, and of coarse by then most of the coupons are expired. Soome people don't think it's that important to get it out in the mail. I have everything I need right here at home and when my trades are done, I address the envie, add the coupons, weigh and stamp the envie and walk to the lobby and post the letter immediately. Having said that, I was surprised when one of the trades I did took over 3 weeks to reach Ontairo, although I believe it was right before the strike. If you are very clear about your expectations in a trade, chances are (but not always) the other person will follow through. I'm happy to hear you did receive your trade finally and I hope it doesn't happen to you again, it can get very frustrating.
