Inserts in Toronto Sun

This message is for people that receive their inserts in the Sunday edition of the Toronto Sun.

If a particular insert is in the paper, I will often buy multiple copies of the paper. I do this, because I don't get any of the local papers delivered to my house.

The problem I have is that there is such inconsistency in which locations carry papers with inserts. For example, a particular convenience store will have them and then another one will not.

Has anyone else experienced this?

Any suggestions?

This happens to me all the time too and sometimes I find papers with no inserts at all. Wonder if the convenience store owner takes them or one customer grabs them all when the owner isn't looking? The only suggestion I have is to keep trying different stores. :S

I have NEVER found inserts in any paper I have bought. I have only found them in the ones I get delivered. Maybe you can try asking a local convenience store owner if they even receive the inserts?

My mother has the paper delivered and they are always in the paper.

It's really hit and miss with the different stores.

I've even called the newspaper, but no one can even answer my question!

@Shine_eye, the newspapers don't handle inserts, the carriers do. my cousin works for the Sun and I've tried getting them from her... they dont even SEE the inserts.

SO most likely, the stores from which you're buying them remove them, or don't even bother putting them in there at all... since they would receive a separate shipment of just the flyers and inserts.

Another really good way is to ask at your local convience store if they have any extras the next day......I usually get 10-20 FREE copies this way from a few local convience stores in my area......they know to expect me monday mornings

I know at my gas station the papers come in 2 parts that you have to put together but the inserts are already inside the middle part....If they are in them at all....it is hit and miss......The carriers pick them up that way from the depot so the inserts are put in before they reach the stores....

I've tried to get the papers the next day, but they are actually picked up by the Sun the next day.

I guess I just have to stick with my scouring all the stores in my area plan...

I found a page from a Brandsaver insert floating around in the air at York and Queen's Quay on Saturday!!!! The best I've found lol.

I once saw a guy reading the Toronto Sun and he was holding an insert. This was near Lawrence West station earlier this month when we were visiting the boonies
