What is going on, not as many new posts in the last couple of weeks

To me the new lay out is is horrible. That annoying green bar at the bottom overlapping the web page. It loads slower.
Maybe people are more inclined to go to the other Canadian deal site due to these changes and that it has more traffic.

Look! Sears Days! Bay Days! They're trying hard to get customers into the stores to buy new coffeemakers, sheets, dinnerware, dress shirts, mattresses, jeans, and a whole lot of other things that people can often wait to buy. For most people, the only gift-giving occasions coming up are weddings (and that registry item I was planning to buy is now 80% off!). I don't think people tend to spend as much on summer clothes as they do on fall/winter (our summers are so short, so clearance happens very quickly!) I think department stores understand this lull and are trying to get people in!
