Hi, Just wondering if anyone can provide an update on Zellers in CH. I was there a couple of weeks ago, and the discounts were 10-20%, nothing too exciting. Is there much stock left? I assume the discounts are greater now. Thanks

I was there about two weeks ago and the prices seemed higher than normal. I won't return until I see signs saying "Minimum 50% off all stock."

I might go check it out again today...last time I was there, they had signs saying everything was 20-40% off, and most things were still only 10% (especially clothing), so I left...
I made a comment on Zellers' wall, to which they said "well, just keep going"...ummm, no, I"m not just gonna keep going!

I was there yesterday, April 9th and the signs were 20-40% but most things were still at 10-20%. Good deals on Easter items though.

Yes, Easter candy on for 50% off! Actually, I was surprised that it was that low...I thought they would have had it for maybe 10%...I didn't get too much, only a few bags of mini eggs and some cream eggs...there was still quite a bit left!

Update: I did not see any decent deals. Mostly 10% to 20% off the lowest sticker price. Easter Candy was 50% off, but very limited selection.

Was there tonight, some really good deals I found but as expected were not displayed - Best to price check the item cause its a mess in there.

I found some Spiderman backpacks, The ones that cost 19.99 regular, the sign said 10% off but when I price checked it, it came up $3.79 so of course I bought 3 but I may have been able to find it at the other Zeller's as well - could have just been a fluke. Easter stuff is still there and a good deal for curtain rods - double one for $3.67.

It doesn't seem like there is a great big sale at all, most stuff seems almost double compared to other stores.

Not really, but if you're looking for a travel system Toys R Us is the best place. Check their cateloge in the back for coupons. I don't know what you are looking to spend or if this is your 1st kid, but the one thing I learned was don't skimp on the stroller - I've had 4 in the last 5 years and I'm going for number 5 cause I can't stand to lug the one we keep at home up the stairs and the combi is not so good for walks, plus it doesn't have cup holders. The one we are getting next month is the Maxi-Cosi Piazzo Travel System - Tango Red - $399.99 (can't buy just the stroller ) It has enough cup holders (1 for baby and 2 for mom or in my case kid #1 and kid #2) and it is light and folds up to 12inches deep! I can leave it by the door and not trip over it - I think I'm becomming a spokes person for this stroller

I was there today, SO not worth the trip. I was looking for an airtight bin to put my flour in, I saw a Rubbermaid container that would do for some of it. 40% off, great. But the regular price was $24.99! Same thing was $8.97 at Walmart.
