OK first of all, Im not going to fight with you.
Fakes can come with care cards and duster bags. Unless you purchased the bag yourself at COACH(which you didnt, as you didnt say that) and know COACH well it's easy to be duped.
Coach bags dont come with a "manual" they come with a simple care card, and you dont have to register your bag online. They have a database when you buy where your name and address pops up right in store :)
1. Signature bags never have signature lining inside. NEVER
2. See how when the bag was full and on your sons head the signature "c"s dont line up nice and completely conformed from the middle out, this is not how real COACH looks, it lines up from the middle out always, not side by side and willy nilly.
3. The signature COACH stitching is not on the pieces that attached to the hardware. Thick double stitches are used to attach always.
4. See how the "leather" is fraying where the hardware connects showing material? Leather doesn't do that.
5. If you send me the serial number I can show you something neat on how to tell easily.
6. Coachs key fobs dont have that design on the side where its cut out.

Anyways I dont want to fight. I know my COACH bags. I can show you pics of my real signature bag with white detail if you would like me to show you the differences, on how to tell. I buy and sell bags as a side business :) If you'd like I have a friend whos sold COACH long before me can probably explain it better.

Yep and it's all your fault that I am obsessed now...I have quite a collection. I started with one and have I think 5 vintage bags, a new wallet, two wristlets, a couple of mini skinnies, and a key fob! I have gotten amazingly good at being able to tell the difference now especially since I can't find Coach where I live! I need to be able to tell the difference because if I want something usually ebay is my only option unless I know I am going to Toronto.Quote:

I've heard of it happening before. Someone buys a real Coach and returns a fake. If the person working doesn't know their Coach it's possible for them to process the return and it goes back out on the floor. I have also read of it happening in The Bay as well as other stores that just carry the brands and may not actually be knowledgeable about them.Quote:

yeah it's unfortunate :( There was a huge thing awhile ago about Saks Off 5th selling fake Fendi bags. A few people bought what they thought was real Fendi and then went to another store where the sales associate said the bag was fake.Quote:
