My First Brag!!!

Today I used coupons for the first time!! I was so nervous when i handed them over to the cashier, here is what I got:

2xPurex: 2.99-1.00 (only had 1 )= 3.99
6xPantene: 3.99 - 3xB1G1= 11.97

Its not alot but I couldnt have done it with out the help of everyone here!

Way to go, I know the feeling! My first time using coupon, I thought my heart was going to pop! Free feels good!

WTG beehive. The first time for me was very scary, and still to this day I get nervous once and a while when I go and use printed coupons and such. Keep going savings will get bigger and bigger

wtg i still get nervouse yet, especially when there's people behind me waiting , so i try to keep my back to them so i don't get anxiouse also lol. great feeling when the savings start increasing though.

great score. also for a note i heard SDM has pantene on for 5.99 for large bottles and that there is a 4.00 peelie coupon on it to make it 1.99 WTG on your trip. i remember the first time i used coupons i still get butterflies n nervous when i use coupons at the till then once its complete i feel that wonderful rush of wow look at all i got for this much..

I still get butterflies when i have coupons lol...

Just hate the feeling and hard time waiting when cashier looks at the coupon - reads front and back several times... try to enter the discount in the system... gets error... calls manager... get the transaction fixed... and then repeats the process for second one... and the worst case is when they look at coupon as if its first time in their life they have seen something like this and then looks back to you arrrrr...

But at the end you just love the feeling of what you saved using few coupons... i know free feels good but still learning and dreaming to score great deal some day

I just say "the coupon is good you can take it" lol half the time they just shrug and say "okay"

WTG! As you coupon you find your getting more and spending less. I started getting more serious about how i spend my money last year and i am going to show you the photo of 2 months of couponing and what i picked up. I went from running out of items at the end of every month to this.

Mostly health and beauty stuff but that is what i needed. One year later my stock pile would fit inside 4-6 rubbermaid bins. I didn't go crazy. Very shortly after that i started to get very fussy on my stockpile items and i researched expiry dates on items and i am careful not to purchase things like a 5 year supply of deorderant when it is only good for one year. The neat thing is... i started off just like you and got some purex laundry soap and some sunlight for a great deal and the savings just kept on coming after that. My groceries still cost money.. not as much and we can afford better foods. Congrats on the begining. That was a great start!
