Has anyone else noticed this?
I've noticed recently that smartsource.ca has a different value on their coupons that are also in the coupon inserts.
For example
In the most recent smartsource coupon insert
front page
$1 off Loreal Paris Hair Expertise product
$2 off Superior Preference hair colour
Online at smartsource.ca
$2 off Loreal paris Hair Expertise product
$4 off Superior Preference Hair colour
Online is double the value!!
So I guess its worth it to print the coupons insteadThis thread is currently associated with: Guess, Smart Source

hmmmm. Maybe that's to encourage people to go to the website? Printing is not worth it for me, no stores in the area take printables except SDM
Apply every possible promo code to your cart, at every store that you visit (and get points for cash back on top of that?). It's sweet and easy with HONEY.

Not worth the ink to print coupons for me....I'll stick to the inserts. Besides, stores here don't take kindly to printables.

My printer is down, but when I have used printables it has been at either sdm or walmart with no problems.

i think everyone does that...look at p and g for example when they do not exclude trial sizes sometimes on their online coupons. Probably right, to get people to go to website PLUS i am thinking if they came in inserts, more people probably read the paper then go on computers....
i know computers are popular these days but it is a bit of a pain in the you know what to go on the computer for everything. EVERYTHING you have to go on the computer for nowadays and half the time i am sure people couldn't be bothered and that is probably why they do it i figure, lol.
The printing things (since many stores don't take them)everyone has mentioned makes sense to... that way the companies are putting out promotions but not a million people will use them so they still save some money out of it. JMO.Last edited by kris10; Tue, Apr 17th, 2012 at 12:13 PM.

Some couponers can find 100 inserts while smartsource.ca limits the number of prints. You need a lot of different computers to print off large quantities from smartsource.ca. It's safer to put the larger values online to avoid extreme couponing.
