I was leaving the mall today and saw a Goose sitting in the flower bed outside the mall. I went up to it and look what I saw:

Someone put a can of water down for it (you can see it has some water on its beak as it was drinking when I took the picture..) I tried to not get too close she flew at me as I was finishing taking the pic. Lol
When you get desparite for a "nest" I guess you make do with what you have! I hope everything turns out well for this family!
awwww..hope some jerk doesnt come along and do something bad...poor bird..
I hope Papa goose brings her food so she doesn't have to leave nest. I worry along with misbartender about the cruel people in the world. . .

AWWW I always see so many geese around SQ1 on my way to work. I hope she is ok!
I saw a goose building a nest outside my local mall too! (st.vital)
Are those pebbles or breadcubes to the right of her? I wonder if animal control can come and relocate them?

There are so many geese in the city! Last time we stayed in Markham (last spring) there were geese and their goslings everywere! It was insane, they'd even walk down the sidewalk back to where they were living! (I made another thread geese in the city part 2 to post pics)
How did that brave soul get close enough to set down a can of water?
