Forced to shop

I was looking through my binder last night and realized that I still had several $2 coupons for Royale from the facebook promo. I thought I had lots of time to use them up, but oh no......they expire in 2 days Today I wasn't feeling up to going out, but the more I thought about those poor coupons expiring, the sadder I got So I loaded up my dog and my binder and off to safeway we went. I got 4 pkgs of the Royale 3 ply on sale for $4.89 for the 12 triple roll count, after my $2 coupons it was only $2.89 a pkg. Picked up a few other things then off to NF where I got another 3 pkgs of the 40 roll Royale that was on sale for $6.89 and used $2 coupons so I got the 40 roll pkgs for $4.89 each. I still had about 14 $2 coupons for tissue, papertowels and any product, so I left them with the products and hopefully they will get used up before they expire. I also got 2 pkgs of raw shriimp in the shell for $3 ea and some lean ground pork for 30% off. Got fresh corn on the cob 6 for $1.98 and several other things to. All totalled, I used over $21 in coupons so my forced shopping trip was worth it.

I also noticed that Rexal was renovating so I couldn't resist going in. I'm glad I did because I found several 50% or more off clearance shelves. I got 4 Lindt chocolate bunnies for .48 ea, 4 Nelstle Noir bars (the large ones which dh scooped before I could even get a pic of them) for .25 ea and 4 Clubhouse gravy mixes for .18 ea.

While out today I also found some new coupons and was very happy as I found a FULL pad of Nexus coupons. I took 3, so please don't ask, none for trade. I hope that little pad stays hidden away and the people that are going to use it on the regular size products find it and get to use the coupon I also found the new Dr. Oetker mug cake coupon with the Dec 2013 expiry date. I love long expiry dates. So I'm stocked up on tp for a while and a few treats too

Thanks all, a lesson learned by me too, if you have some treasured coupons, make sure you know the expiry date of them This happens to me far to often. So now I have decided to share my most treasured coupons with some of my friends here. I will keep what me and my dd's can use and share any extra's if I have them. With the Royale promo, not only did I get 4 coupons, one of each, but all my dd's did too, so I ended up with a lot of them, oh well, I will definately be checking those expiry dates! This Heinz pickle is sure being taught a lot these days, lol!!!
