Google Camel Spider and you will thank your lucky stars you don't live where these buggers live!
I don't like creepy crawlies, but I would be hesitant to use powerful insecticides right in my living area. Thank goodness I've never needed fumigation services, that can't be good for ones health.
madchives...what are you going on about? You are a veteran poster, but it seems you've turned into a troll...perhaps it's time to move on...
You need to state what the problem is rather than simply rant about the forum not working. My 2 cents...

I had one of those fall INTO my sweater - and it bit me!!! I jumped around screaming and my co-worker didn't know what was wrong with me. I've had the willies about those ever since (and that was about 8 years ago)!

So Dave, since you know so much about these things, you can save me a trip to Wikipedia
Do these things reproduce like rabbits and then you are infested with them, or can you just get one to take care of all those PITA ants? I am thinking about catching one and making friends....cheaper than raid if it won't invite the family and invade my house....

Oh the memories....as a Queen's alumnus these little critters are referred to as "ghetto bugs". They are a regular site in Kingston student housing.

Those things are awful! Fortunately I've never had to live with one, but I've been in houses where they've made a surprise appearance. I ran to get a paper towel to squish one once and it chased me! The first time I ever saw one was back in high school. It scurried across the floor while we had the lights off, watching a video. Amazing how fast I and the rest of the girls climbed up on top of our desks!
Ants are easy to get rid of. Just sprinkle some borax where you see them crawling around (or if you have pets that might also walk through the borax, get those little round ant traps. They have borax in them, mixed with bait.)

I agreee Marstec.
Madchives, hijacking my thread, trying to cause drama, and complaining everyday (but not telling anyone what your problem is) is getting old. Please be nice or refrain from posting.
I'm also not sure where your getting your "information" from but Smart Canucks is proudly a top 500 Canadian site.Last edited by Sally888; Thu, May 3rd, 2012 at 12:49 AM.
