gah im getting addicted to gambling

so last night i was at the casino for the cheep buffe with my hubby we had time to kill so i hit the slots its like the second time i did... anyway i ended up playing 40 and winning 50 $10 profit so yeyey noww i sooo wanna go back bad!!! i seen some second hand juciy and burberry bags at the second hand place by my house for good prices and they only take real not fake stuff... so now i wanna go back and try to win enough money for that.... I even had a dream i went and won like 1000!! so help! should i go?

I'd stay away though.
I rarely go to the casino, but when I do go, I go in with the expectation that will not come out ahead. I go in with a finite amount of cash in my pocket and that's that, once it's gone, I'm done.

No!! Don't go! Take your $10 and run! Few people walk away from a casino with an extra $10 in their pockets so enjoy it. :-)

Disclaimer: But, if you would rather spend the money at the Casino than have a Juicy or Burberry bag, spend it as long as you are perfectly okay with losing it. I think if your up 10.00 than that is good enough lol. Save the money the right way don't go and spend money at the casino.

I've watched a lot of people from all walks of life play those machines and I can tell you that for 99% of them, the worse thing that could happen to them was winning a jackpot... even if just once. I think you're lucky to be able to walk away with a 10$ win... and the fact that you're considering these machines as a potential $$ maker to buy your purse is a BIG hint that you should probably stay away.

I have to agree with everyone, stay away. Casino's are not designed for you to win. If you walked out with an extra $10, keep it in your pocket, don't give it back to them. I hope you make the right decision.

stay away!.. consider yourself very lucky u have an extra $10 in your pocket.. we've gone 3 x in the last 2 years. walked out even or maybe $5 ahead.. we NEVER spend more than $20 each. save your $ someday you'll have enough for that bag.. you'll enjoy it even more as you worked hard to earn it instead of winning it. ;)

My Dad occasionaly goes to casinos. He goes in with $20 in cash and plays card games; lucky for him, he has an excellent memory, good handle on strategy in card games, and tends to be very good at reading people, meaning that he can often win a hand or two. If he ends up winning enough to cover parking, he leaves right away and considers it free entertainment and then normally goes for a nice supper and spends the original $20 that way. If not, he plays until he loses his $20 and leaves, and then eats a sandwich at a gas station rest stop or a sidewalk hot dog. That's about as much as casinos can do for you... give you an hour's fun, and maybe let you break even on a day's entertainment. On the downside, you could end up eating a Irving gas station ham sandwich or a shopsy's weiner and having to fumble for change to get out of the parking lot. Long story short: casinos are fine for leisure, but not for money-making!

OP, the odds are always in favour of The House. The House always wins.
Invest the $10 in an ING or PC savings account and watch it grow.

I always thought of gambling as a tax on the stupid - only gamble what you can afford to lose. I can think of less expensive ways of getting an adrenaline rush. My two cents, no offense given...

Couldn't have said it better...count yourself lucky...THIS TIME...I've heard of people here losing their entire savings...no other word than: stupid. Buy yourself a nice lipstick and back away...!

I hope you didn't lose too much. Losing a bit is good, though, as it is the best reinforcement of the message "The house always wins"...
