Do you go for the cans or the box??? *Update in Post 33

So I had to take a one hour break from moving to go shopping and coupon hunting quickly - Just to maintain my sanity!

On the way to Pricesmart Foods to pm Walmarts Palmolive and stack for 6 free bottles I was at a red light and a speeding truck went to turn left toooo fast and a 12 pk case of Ginger Ale went flying out of his box.

The box broke open and cans of pop went flying everywhere - Of course people started getting out of there cars scurring around to take the cans of pop. I on the other hand notice the cardboard box had landed within three metres of my van
and I could clearly see the markings on the box indicating there was a coupon inside - So instead of running like a mad women after rolling cans of pop in an intersection I quietly hopped out of my Van and picked up the box.

Since the 12 pk is on sale this week for $2.97 I am quite happy!!

I then went on my way to look for coupons and score some deals and now It's back to moving...

Oh silly me I just grabbed some of the CZ's for pickles and relish - Found a couple other tearpads nothing that exciting though - and I went to Safeway to get my Salad Mix for 69 cents and $1.50 off 4L milk.

Haha! I think you did the right thing. The pop will explode and would take a lot more time to chase after

My logic would be:
Cans = lots of competition
Cans = 10-15 cents value each

Box = zero competition
Box = 1 piece $1.50 value

I can't believe people would be getting out of their cars to chase cans of ginger ale.

bahaha, I caqn just see you, praying that a strong wind doesn't come along and blown that box up in a tree! Good for you Kimmee, I would have went for the box all the way!

The No Frills in Innisfil is advertising 18 cans for $4.99 not as good a deal as out west. Check around though!
