price matching question
Hey everyone... I'm not sure where to post this so sorry if it's in the wrong place. I'm curious about price matching. I'm doing a walmart run tonight and plan on price matching a few things for the first time. I know I need the flyers, but is there anything else I need? Also is this done at the regular cashier or do i need to go to customer service? Its the warden adn eglinton one in Toronto if that helps. Thanks!

You can go to the regular register to price match.

Walmart do not do price match, they do AD match, if you have a flyer (including all small stores in your area), they will match the price. Usually the CS will write down the name of store on a piece of paper, and match the price in the flyer.

I usually just bring the flyers and show them before each product is scan.

Walmarts are pretty good at price matching for local stores. But as well if a hot item and they know or have been told no stock at other store they can deny pricematch as item is not in stock.
Just show the flyer, cashier will make sure current flyer and same item and do it on the spot. If flyer says limited quantity per customer you are limited as well.
although i do advise not to use express checkout lanes for pricematching.

i would suggest to go either early in the morning or around closing time .... that way there is not that many people shopping... and you don't hold the line ups there ;)

That Walmart is ok for price matching (one time they even matched Bestwin, the Chinese grocery store on Vic Park) but iffy for coupons. If it says "one per purchase" they will make you do it in a bunch of transactions.
