I will only redeem for $100 as I am low on points; will purchase a yoga mat and accessories, plus several cases of bottled water - to donate to my son's high school fundraiser (yoga night) to raise money for a Me to We comunity developmet Kenya trip this summer. I am amazed to no end what we parents do for our kids. $100 will hopefully get me enough supplies to create a lovely gift package of yoga stuff - thank you SDM.

I thought this thread was made by someone, but couldn't find it earlier...I posted my list in another thread. Anyway...talking to a friend on the weekend who was telling me the highlights of different e-readers. Apparently Kindles are one of the best because they actually look like paper when reading...no glare in sunlight. ??? Her word not mine.

I have a Kindle- and have had it for about a year and a half. It is the most awesome thing ever! I love it. My best friend has a Kobo, but I personally prefer the Kindle as it does look exactly like reading a novel would

Kindles are rated as #1 e-reader. Really good customer service too.
But don't expect too much from the model shoppers is selling.
Its the basic, bottom of the line Kindle. Good if you just want to read books and not do anything else.
Direct from Amazon or in the states that model is only $79.Get free gift cards for amazon & paypal. I've earned $100's with the click of my mouse!

Just something to consider... with a kobo you can download books from the public library for free.... but you can only do that with a kindle in the US. I don't have either but have been researching them too and that is one of the things I found out. Otherwise I think a kindle would be great - seen so many great reviews about them.
