I haven't been out shopping for a while - March coupons expired - April Coupons expired - so when I did a little research this week - I was determined to take advantage of some coups and sales combinations.
So - although the signs now say $5.99 - the Pantene shampoo was still on sale for 3.99.

2X Pantene Shapoo (3.99 ea) - 1 B1G1 Free coupon = 2 for 3.99 or 1.99 each
also found a box of Black Magic chocolates reg. 5.99 on sale for $2.00 - yum!
and a PILE of Lindt Dark Chocolate (Orange) bars for .50 ea. (Bought 2).

Then at SDM
Purex HD non-scented Liquid Laundry detergernt - 33 loads reg. 8.99 - on sale for 5.99 - $1.00 =4.99
Cheerios were on sale for 1.99 - bought 2

BUT

I also went to Value Village - 30% off day for card holders - but only for clothing and bed and bath - not furniture or housewares.

I have a filled card which was given to me by a wonderfully generous SCer which I will use by May 12 when the cards expire. I intend to use it to pick up some things for my brother who is moving into his own apartment.

I bought a
navy blue formal type dress with an overcoat tagged at $14.99 for $10.00 (I am a Wedding Officiant and this will be great for performing weddings.)
a pair of beige Jones of New York capris tagged at $9.99 for $6.67
A round beige table cloth with darker beige leaves tagged for $4.99 for $3.33
A matching table runner tagged for $1.99 for $1.32

I'm quite happy with my shop.
