I think I'm settling with the current header. It has the main links on the green menu and the forum ones on the red menu. What do you guys think of it? Any suggestions for improving the links on there to make it easier to use? I want to finalize this header for good so please feel free to give me any feedback that could make it more intuitive and easier to use.
Always wondered why the red is smaller and the medium green larger and more prominent.
I use the red all the time; use the green just to get to the blog. From the light green line I only use new posts.
But it's fine as is.
I use the green one more, everything on the red one drops down from it
Red smaller because I'm trying to fit more on it and also for newbies I feel forum is too confusing so I want the green to be more prominent. For example if you click on flyers on green menu it is much easier to use than the deals forum.Quote:

The are subforums so I would remove them both, they are not the best place for newbies to start given how much arguing goes on in them anyway
I wish the green ones drop down was more "in line". For ex. I hover over coupons and the menu drops down but to go to the forum I have to go to the far right. I wish this was right below the coupon tab once I hovered over it......just a peeve but it "bothers" me to have to go SO FAR(LOL!!) over to get the forum.
Also the + Deal button - can this go to the deals forum rather than new post so people can see if it has been posted
SDM forum is probably used more than tech deals

When I get a PM and the pop up pops up I click it but think I have a pop up blocker so can't view the PM that way so when I go under my inbox the messages that I have not read are not bold and do not stand out from the rest of already read ones.I wish they did.
That is not really anything to do with the header lol, I can tell the difference, but an easy way of checking is to click on settings in the header and it will show your unread PMs at the top
