How do gcs compare with pts?

Great question :) I was informed last night that 22k sdm points is $30 but since its 20k i see it as $25 as if you walk in and out 2 times thats $20 or i add to what i already have and the value obviously goes up as you get more points but i am not an expert at this by far lol so if anybody has some imput i would like to know i guess evryone could be right in there analogy .
