There are some mini gas wars going on, especially since Costco Oshawa opened and the other guys want to keep your business.
On the 401, WESTBOUND, the rest stop near Newcastle (Timmys, Wendys), has gas for 115.9/L last night.

On the 401, EASTBOUND, the rest stop near Port Hope does not have deals usually. They are always higher. But, if you go to Port Hope (Independent gas bar + Auto Cash) or Cobourg (Canadian Tire + CT money), you get gas cheaper plus some bonuses (auto cash or CT money).

Freshco Durham Region

Freshco has meat deals with 30 per cent off, usually. We bought Maple Leaf prime chicken with a rip and stick coupon! Chicken packs were $10 and the rip and stick coupon was $5. Look for rip and stick at your local Freshco.

RCSS Oshawa (Taunton) has a reduced section in the ice cream aisle. There is
