May 23 is free Slurpee day - the first 1000 people get a free one after 11 am.

So make your way, head down, visit, or heck, just swing by your local 7-Eleven between 11:00am and 7:00pm for your free 7.11oz Slurpee. Choose the flavour you want or mix ‘em all up. Whatever you do, be sure to leave your wallet at home. And don’t forget your mouth. And taste buds. But be warned, this offer is only valid to the first 1000 Slurpee enthusiasts. So don’t sleep in until 11:01am or anything silly like that. Get them while they last

Just an FYI, 7.11 oz is TINY!! Free is free and I'm not complaining, my point is only that if you're going to actually drive to a 7-11 to get your free slurpee, you've already spent more money on gas than the slurpee's value.
But it's awesomely awesome if you walk past a 7-11 and get to snag one of these

I think that's what they say, but maybe they don't really care?! It doesn't cost them much anyway, and really how do you count 1000 slurpees? You can count sleeves of paper cups, but my store's floor was trashed with paper cups, as in someone pulled a cup and 2 fell on the ground.

I am in Estevan and last year they did this promotion all day. The cup is quite small and comparable to a sample of slurpee. My husband loves slurpees, so I might remember to go with him that day and get my own extra small one for free.

I don't think anyone is counting how many they give out. Probably the 'limit' is just to encourage you to go!

I got one today! They had a table of empty cups in the store and you could just take one and fill it with your flavour and leave. No fuss no muss
