Maybe this might attract more Guys . Feel free to add to the recipes.
I will start it of with...
<table border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" width="100%"><tbody><tr><td class="row1" align="left" valign="top" width="100%"><table border="0" cellpadding="5" cellspacing="0" width="100%"><tbody><tr><td width="100%"> Pickled Eggs
put water and eggs on the stove, bring to a boil. Let boil for 1 minute. Turn off stove, but leave the pot on the burner. Go have a beer (or so) and come back in 30 minutes. peel the (hot) eggs under cold water
they are easier to peel that way.
fill another pot with vinegar, and a TBS (or so) of salt (I put garlic powder in too, but I'm new to this recipe and am still experimenting. I think I will put a whole garlic clove in with the eggs next time) and bring it to a boil. Pour the boiled vinegar over the eggs in the jar. Let them sit for about a week.</td> </tr> <!-- right top row table end --></tbody></table></td> </tr> <tr> <td class="row1" align="left" nowrap="nowrap" valign="bottom"><table border="0" cellpadding="5" cellspacing="0" width="100%"><!-- right bottom row start --> <tbody><tr> <td width="100%">
</td></tr></tbody></table></td></tr></tbody></table>Microwave grilled cheese sandwich
Toast two slices of bread in the toaster.
Butter toast and place a slice of your favourite cheese between slices.
Cook in microwave until cheese starts to melt.
15 - 20 seconds usually.
Serve with bread and butter pickles and ketchup on the side to dip the sandwich in.
Variation
Use single slice of toast, add a slice of tomato on top of the cheese.
Add salt and cook open face 20 seconds or as required. This thread is currently associated with: The Bargain Shop
