Expireduggggg just wanted to rant here -went to rexall to get my moms pills last night -wanted to buy 1 revlon nail file along with a few other items
-let me tell you first off i have couponed 30 years now-number one it is getting harder and harder to save every penny-number 2 was in metro yesterday and everytear pad was ripped off-unreal -some i havent even had-people stop taking all the tear pads and selling them on ebay or trading tons on here(if you are) -lets all work together on this-okay i am getting off topic so i go up to the cashier with my items
"you cant use this coupon she states it is only for the items pictured-i know cause it came in with the display"
i said it states for any revlon tool on the back -any means any item revlon makes in the nail tool section
okay i will give it to you this time -but not again
honestly its like they dont want us to get things for nearly free -or maybe people just are using to many -stocking up on a ton at a time -which i dont i would rather stop in at a store at various times during the week -i got these revlon cpns in a few different trades-never did find them myself-last week i went to use 3 at pharmasave-she rang them in seperate cause it states one per person or something like that-i dont even want to stock up on them -i gave 2 to my moms home maker for her and her daughter -2 to my girlfriend for her and her daughter-havent even thought about myself or my daughter and daughter-in-law-oh well the other few i have i will try to use up before the end of june -unreal -i was so ticked had to tell everyone

I had a problem this week with trying to use a Silk coupon - printed from their website - at Walmart. The lady wanted me to prove what website I got it from. Also said that I photocopied it Are you kidding me?! I'm trying to save money on 1 ONLY not 15!!!!!! Jeeez that made me mad! Had to call the manager over and she accepted it. I don't get how some places are making you prove where you got the coupon. On the Silk box - it says go to their website and they will give you a coupon!!!! Crazzzzzzzzzzyyy.... I feel your pain on this one!!!

It is my intention to continue to try to forge good relationships with store staff as I coupon and price-match.
When confronted in such a manner, it would be reasonable to state politely to the manager that the clerk just incorrectly accused you of fraud and that you are personally offended.TRADING COUPONS: FOOD, DENTAL, SOAP / BODY WASH/DEODORANT, SPECIAL CREAMS, MAKEUP, HEALTH, AIR FRESHNERS, HAIRCOLOUR, CLEANING, HAIRCARE/ SHAMPOO, DIAPERS, SHAVING, PET, MEDICINE,LAUNDRY, STORES, LONDON BUSINESSES, FAST FOOD, BATTERYPRODUCTS, CHILDREN FOOD and TOY, SMOKING CESSATION and lots more !!

I've also noticed that some cashiers want me to justify where my coupon came from. Like those ziploc produce ones. This isn't so they can find some themselves, its so they can determine whether its real. They seem to think its fake.what difference does it make where it came from? A coupon is a coupon. Wonder if managers demand that cashiers do this

Rexall is always a pain. I tried to get two bottles of Arm and Hammer detergent when they had it on sale for $3 and I had a $1 off coupon. The cashier tried to tell me that since it was on for $4 off already that I could not use a coupon. I argued that made no sense and they'd be getting money back from the manufacturer anyway, so she called her manager and the manager said I could use one coupon only. I said forget it, took the flyer, and price matched for 4 bottles at Walmart. So ha, Rexall!

I am also finding couponing harder and harder.. I can rarely shop without being accused by the cashier of either "Stealing the coupon" from inside store merchandise or "Photocopying" it etc; I don't use that many coupons in one transaction either so its really wierd. I've always pride myself in not using more than 2-3 *usually - if I have a good cashier then I may use 1-2 more of the same coupon/brand/type product. I don't usually use more than about 10 coupons in a transaction because it makes other people really mad.
The other day I was in walmart and the lines were crazy long, I overheard the lady behind me on the phone saying that she had to pick her son up from soccer in 20 minutes. When she got off the phone I told her that she could go in front of me (I showed her my coupons ) and she was so grateful (she was only buying a few things) But next thing I knew the guy behind her who was now behind me. Was demanding that I let him go in front of me. I politely refused and he started swearing under his breath about how rude couponers are. (my cart had a couple containers of milk in it, some eggs, cream, and 5 - juice box packs that I was buying for a get together - I had my FPC's ) He told me again that he needed to be in front of me (with his overflowing 2 carts!) I told him no. I said go to a different till if you are in a rush. He was really angry and went over to CS and complained about me!!!! I was so grateful that the lady in front of me was still there. She spoke up and said that I was really nice etc; .. Then the CS worker said.. Wait.. Your talking about her? She is the more polite coupon user I have ever worked with! You can file your complaint, but as soon as you give it to me it is going in the shredder!
Whooo! It pays off!I've set up 3 trains.Still loading. If you are interested, links are on my userpage.
No, this isn't your coffee, I had a two for one coupon!

Glad it all worked out for you!
What kind of person complains about another customer to customer service? What exactly is CS supposed to do, ban you from shopping? From using coupons? Force you to let others ahead of you? If it were a valid complaint about a staff member, fine; but another customer is something I've never heard of before.

+1. How dumb. What is the store supposed to do about a customer complaining about a customer? One time a customer had a freak out at a cashier because me and my dad "cut" in line in front of him and called the manager to complain. In fact, we were joining my mom who was already in line in front of the weirdo. He went nuts at us and cashier and the manager. Was escorted out. Even if we were budding in line, what are the staff supposed to do about it?
