Yes it is that time of the year again! The time where you can get a deal on gasoline for a change! The Canadian Tire in Brantford does this about twice a year I think. Maybe it is done in other places too but I am not sure.

On the notice that was in the paper, it is also says that on that day you can buy 2 Ultimate Car Washes for $10.00 (they are $10.00 EACH!) and there is a coupon for $2 off propane refills too.

This event is by no means a free for all. It is very organized. All the pumps are blocked off and a line is formed. Each vehicle is allowed in once a pump is free. The lines move quickly despite the number of cars lined up there!

By the way, you can only fill your vehicle, no gas cans or other containers permitted.

I know that I will make sure the van is running on fumes by Thursday... If I have to push it there the rest of the way, well so be it!
