it's always nice to hold open a door for someone when entering and exiting a store!

I took three of my friends out to a carnival and paid their way in. Also gave them tickets to go on rides, bought them lunch and pop.

My ROAK was at NoFrills the other day, my mom had asked me to return her "rented" shopping buggy to the stall. Upon doing so, I encountered a man who appeared to be somewhat poor trying frantically to find someone to give him a buggy because he didn't have the quarter. I gave him the one we had "rented" to which he replied, that he would pay it forward. I told him I was happy to help him out. Upon returning to the car, my mom asked for her quarter....so I dug one out of my purse and gave it to her. She is on pension and every penny counts. I didn't just want to give her $$ away

Today at the grocery store the line up was ridiculous! There were only 2 cash lanes open side by side with 5 people in each lane waiting. While in the line up I skimmed peoples carts/baskets for items I had coupons for. I gave one lady 2x1.00 nutrigrain bars and 1x 1.00 palmolive. A gentleman got 1x1.00 asana yogurt and a coupon for his dog food, another one got an m&m's fpc for the wee guy he had with him who was asking for a treat and an older lady got 2 boxes of tea for the price of 1 with a red rose bogo. I also roaked the sweet cashiers each a Sunny D FPC
My daughter enjoyed giving the coupons out.

I ended up getting too many $1 wub2 minute maids coupons through trades and finding a tearpad that finally had some hanging on it. So, I stood for a little while at my local no frills handing them out to anyone who was purchasing the minute maids. It felt good to make many people excited about getting free minute maid
