anyone know if this is the price in alberta too? I love this sauce, I find it not as sweet as some of the others, and we stocked up last year when the coupons came out, but funny enough, I'm on the last bottle so I would like to get some more. Thanks all.

LOL..free BBQ sauce..it's tempting to visit the hell that is my local walmart, hate going there can't wait till the one at the end of my street is built, next summer...
Anyway...yea..since Albertan's seem to get ripped off in pricing, anyone know if it's worth visiting hell for? or even if they carry it?....can't remember ever seeing it..

That BBQ sauce is listed in this week's RCSS ad.
That started on Friday, so you called before the price went down.
I have about a dozen coupons to get them for free, but too ill to do so.

Most locations are out of stock, but hoping for a delivery.
You can get rainchecks for sure!!

It is sometimes worth thoroughly going the flyers.

I have caught several great deals that were in text only as an add-on to a prominent ad, such as this one.
Ad example : Prominent words and picture for one item ( words that add on 1-2 additional products )
(ie several brands of bars of soap, several body wash, including Dove Body Wash, Tylenol medication, Resolve laundry, fresh chicken, etc)

The great thing about those ads are that even intrepid bargain hunters slide their eyes past and do not notice the additional items on sale.
That leaves lots on the shelf for us and our coupons!


Closely following some of the threads in Smart Canucks can make you aware of unadvertised specials. (ie Fruit Essentials frozen fruit at Food Basics $5.99 > $2.74 - $2 coupon = $0.74)
It also can pay to simply wander stores to look for unadvertised specials and clearance.

In each case, when I combined the deal (pricematching or in the original store) and coupons, I got lots of things for 75% off to free.

Didn't find any BBQ sauce at the Lougheed Walmart Supercentre =[
