oh wow. I'm late replying to this one so the info is useless for this weekend, but here's what we always look at when we go across the border:

Stuff we always buy there because it's cheaper than here:
    1. Cheese--especially cheese strings at Sam's Club are a smokin' hot deal
    2. Meat- they don't have marketing boards so the prices are lower. However, they DO use hormones in their meat and I'm not a fan of that crap, so we limit what we buy for meat in the US.
    3. Beer (lol. Kind of a no brainer, that one!)
    4. Clothes
    5. Books
    6. LED light bulbs
    7. Air conditioner refill cans for your car's AC system (I know. Pretty random list I got goin' on here. LOL)

Stuff that seems a fair bit cheaper than here but we don't buy every time
    1. linens (towels, sheets, blankets)
    2. Electronics (tv's, cameras etc)

I'm sure there are other things that are good deals. In fact, I think there was even a thread on this very discussion a few years ago but I'm too lazy to do a search for it. LOL. Anyway, it won't help you for this weekend since you've already left, but for future trips, it's good to know.

    Purses/bags.
    Make-up.
    Vitamins.
Potato chips - they have kinds you just can't get in Canada.
    Chocolate.
