I'm sorry you had to endure that at the hotel. I would have felt angry too. I also think you did the right thing by reporting him.
When they called me back to tell me that he'd been fired, they told me he had been sick. I guess they got a lot of complaints about him before. Both the hotel manager and I agreed that we felt bad about having him fired, on top of the illness he was fighting, but they had already given him plenty of chances and warnings before, and this was the last straw.
yes you did the right thing! clearly he is handling his stress and probably fear the wrong way. No body should ever be justified in treating another human being that way.
