Can't Beat Free (Like Swagbucks, Gifthulk, Zoombucks, Irazoo etc)

Righto, so I am all signed up and earning and won a nice Jackpot prize last night, but unfortunately the Crowdflower tasks are not crediting me. I am receiving the "Credit", but apparently it's getting "stuck"...sent J a screenshot, but he can't help.

So tried contacting Crowdflower on their forums, but overall, regardless of the Crowdflower problem I'm enjoying this site. Get the occasional videos, and even though I think I had only two Jackpot entries, I won:

Can someone explain the "Search" to me? You don't actually win anything for searching, just Jackpot entries, right?

Also I literally just got this:
You have been detected of using a proxy please contact the your ISP with your IP address and inquire why. Proxy Use is not allowed on Cantbeatfree.

I have no clue what this means, I'm at work?

But whenever I type google.com, it will just redirect me to google.ca. I didn't pay attention if it happens to the US task. I will check it out tonight

As for doing the US tasks, I think it's fine if we do them. The difference between them is the Canadian ones use Google.ca and the US ones use Google.com when we open the search tab. Good luck on the Jackpot. I think everyone takes turn to win Jackpot even you are doing very little on the site, but the key points is you have to do something to get some entires everyday.

Yes, if you are doing the task on the high traffic time, you may get very slow on crediting, but don't try to refresh the window once it submits. Otherwise, you may not get credit.

Congrats on the jackpot win! I hope you will get this issue resolved with crowdflower.

Are you doing this in the office ? Your office computer may setup using proxy.

Yes, you only get "Search Jackpot entry" from doing the search. You won't get any points or regular jackpot entry from doing the search. So far, I won 4 times on the search jackpot even though I have only 1 or 2 entry per day.

For the search you don't earn any points only entries into the jackpots.

Sorry I can't help you with the proxy issue, I don't even know what that means :icon_scratch:

You're supposed to click the link in the US task to open the new google tab. That should take you to google.com.

To keep it simple, people are trying to use proxy to cheat. In other word, they are trying to do something not avaliable in their countries. I'm NOT saying floweredangel is cheating, but probably the computer is setting up using proxy for internal office or some other conveneint use. Proxy is quite useful in certain situation. So, instead of direct connection from your computer to CBF, they go through a proxy computer (e.g. located in US) to connect to CBF. Since people can use proxy to cheat, so CBF bans anyone on using proxy to access the offer or even the site
